What the farm will do
Facilities are already in The Sunik Farms Layer Partnership Programme is designed to establish and manage a productive layer farm focused on consistent egg production and distribution. Partners’ funds will support the procurement of quality point-of-lay birds, housing, feed, medication, farm operations, and egg distribution. The birds will be professionally managed to maintain healthy production, while eggs will be supplied to wholesalers, retailers, businesses, and other customers. Revenue generated from egg sales will support operating costs and partner returns, subject to the agreed partnership terms and actual farm performance. Our goal is simple: build a sustainable layer operation that produces quality eggs, creates value for partners, and contributes to food security.
Insurance and backup plan
The Sunik Farms Layer Partnership Programme will provide appropriate insurance coverage for the farm and livestock, subject to the terms of the selected insurance provider. Coverage include risks such as fire, disease, accidents, theft, and other specified farm-related losses. This provides an added layer of protection for the project and its partners.
Expected harvest and buyer plan
The Sunik Farms Layer Partnership Programme will primarily produce fresh, quality table eggs for sale to wholesalers, retailers, businesses, and households. The project will also generate spent layers and poultry manure as additional farm outputs, creating extra revenue opportunities while supporting sustainable farming. Expected buyer: The eggs will be supplied to a ready and diverse market, including: * 🥚 Wholesalers and egg distributors * 🛒 Supermarkets and grocery stores * 🍽️ Restaurants, hotels and caterers * 🏪 Retail shops and market traders * 🏫 Schools, hospitals and institutions * 🏠 Households and individual consumers Sunik Farms will focus on consistent production and reliable distribution to ensure a steady market for the eggs.
